About Dwight
In his early days, Dwight Phillips was a promising sprinter but switched his focus to the long jump when he transferred to Arizona State from University of Kentucky. Long regarded as a "big event performer," Phillips recently became just the second man in history to win four world titles in men’s long jump when he took gold at the 2011 World Outdoor Track and Field Championships. When he is not training or competing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.

Phillips' Approach to Nutrition
- Phillips believes rest, recovery and nutrition are three important factors that all athletes should take seriously if they want to maximize their potential.
- He says breakfast is very important to him because he trains early in the morning and a good morning meal gives him the energy he needs to get through a rigorous workout.
- He enjoys Kellogg's Frosted Flakes® cereal, Eggo® waffles and Kellogg's® Nutri-Grain® Bars. He also loves eating Rice Krispies® with his 4 and 5-year-old sons.
Off The Field
- When off the track, Dwight Phillips enjoys producing commercials, music videos, or documentaries. Dwight is the owner of an emerging production studio in Atlanta named Rebel Star Media. Additionally, Phillips can be found dribbling a basketball or throwing a football with his sons Dwight Jr. and Elijah.
